1. Is it legal to hire a private investigator to follow someone around for me? Yes, in most circumstances. However, if there is a court order preventing you from finding or contacting the person then you may be in breach of the court order by employing a private investigator. You would need to obtain legal advice around the interpretation of the court order. It would also be illegal if the private investigator was not licensed and you knew they were not licensed.

2. Couldn't I just follow the person around myself? Why would I need a private investigator to do that for me? Most States have laws around stalking people. You may be charged for stalking a person, even if you followed them on one occasion. A private investigator is your best protection against a stalking charge. 3. How do you locate people? We use a combination of internet searches, paid databases and enquiries with people who know the person. There is a process we follow that allows for a high degree of accuracy.

4. Do you find everyone you look for? Our success rate is over 98%. Not everyone can be found. The people who cannot be found are usually those people who regularly need to prevent people finding them and know how to cover their tracks. That said, we have a high degree of success due to the process we follow and our determination to locate the person.

5. I have been to an investigator in the past however I did not get the evidence I needed, can you help? The answer to the question depends on several different elements: the firm you hired, the results you received, what they did and what the job required. For a locate, we would need to see the information you were provided with. We have previously located people that other investigation firms could not find. In one matter, the other firm claimed to have located the individual however there were inconsistencies which the client saw through. The client engaged us and we were able to use the information from the other firm, correct the mistake and locate the address of the person for the client. Lucky for our client, the other firm had a "No find, No fee" guarantee. I am pleased to say that the other firm were true to their word, conceded they did not find the individual, and paid back the money.

6. You do not live in the same area as me, how can you do my investigation? We use operatives who are licensed within the state jurisdiction that your matter is in. So while we may not live there, we can operate there. Our Owner and Lead Investigator is licensed in both Queensland and New South Wales. Learn more about us HERE. If your investigation is in this area then he will be the investigator conducting it. He has traveled to many different areas across both states where he has conducted different types of investigations. For areas Garreth is not licensed in, he has a nationwide network of professional, licensed investigators. Investigations such as locating people, conducting background checks and asset checks can be done from an office in any state. With these investigations, there is generally no need for someone to be that the same area.

7. Will you send me photos taken during surveillance? This is a popular misconception with the public. With surveillance, video footage is the standard in the industry. Our operatives use high definition video cameras to obtain clean and clear images. Photos will be included in any report we provide however you will also receive the high definition video footage.

8. Is the information we speak with you and the evidence you gather, covered by a confidentiality agreement? We can assure you that your information is safe will be held in the strictest confidence. The only time we would be obliged to disclose any information is through a court order. If your lawyer were to engage us then our investigation may even be protected by legal professional privilege.
